Panasonic EVA-1 📷 – hands-on at the Panasonic booth @ IBC 2017

When you lookup the EVA-1 on the Panasonic website the first headline you read is: Cinematic Run&Gun. And that’s the perfect description for this camera. A Small form factor and a performance that you’d find in big cinema cameras, the Panasonic EVA-1 is a perfect mix of 1-man band camera and powerful filmmaking tool.

The 5,7K Super 35 Cmos Sensor, EF-Mount, V-Log and 14 stops dynamic range puts it right in the Sony FS7/FS5 niche but with one panasonic only difference: Dual Native ISO! This key feature of VariCams will prevent noise and artifacts by switching to another (higher) native ISO if necessary in lowlight situations.

Built in Image Stabilization (E.I.S.) and Standard SD-Card recording (rather than expensive media compared in other cameras in this class) make this a very well balanced package for run&gun videographers and small agencies / productions alike.

Internal 4:2:2 10-Bit, 2k SlowMotion up to 240p…This camera truly is a Cinematic Run&Gun beast!
