This is the fastest method I know to apply the smooth zoom transition with motion blur to your edit.
You don’t always have the time to tweak your transitions forever so applying these effects quickly can save you some time when working on your videos. Of course, once created you can copy the adjustment layer over to other edits so you don’t have to do it over again. We are basically just using one adjustment layer, applying the transform effect, and animating the scale of the second clip to around 120%.
That way you will get away with selling the effect and still have a nice and smooth transition on your clips. Make sure to uncheck ‘Use Compositions Shutter Angle’ in the Transform effect and set the shutter angle to 360.
That will give you a nice motion blur on that transition.
